About Bev

My practice is shaped by the people around me and by the nature, materials and inspiration that can be found in everyday life. I’m interested in the possibilities that appear when we give ourselves permission to slow down, experiment and make something with our hands.

I love creating spaces where people feel comfortable to express themselves, explore ideas and discover what they’re capable of. Through workshops, community sessions and hands-on creative activities, I encourage people to try something new, build confidence and find their own way of making.

My own creative journey began with exploring my ideas, materials and ways of working.

Over time, this grew into a desire to help others explore their own creativity and sense of self. I see art and making as more than simply producing something beautiful — they can be ways to discover who we are, express what we feel and recognise strengths we may not have realised we had.

Whether I’m working with an individual, a small group or a wider community, my aim is to create welcoming, supportive experiences where creativity can feel accessible, playful and meaningful.

At the heart of my work is a belief that everyone has the ability to create. Sometimes we just need the time, encouragement and space to begin.
